MODULE 1 (1 hour): Introduction
MODULE 2 (6 hours): Iron and its solid solutions, Fe-Fe3C Phase Diagram, Solid solutions, Heat treatment, formation of Austenite
MODULE 3 (8 hours): Pearlitic, Bainitic and Martensitic Transformations, TTT and CCT Diagrams
MODULE 4 (6 hours): Common Heat treatments; Annealing, Normalizing, Hardening and tempering
MODULE 5 (6 hours): Hardenability; Concept, Factors, Determination
MODULE 6 (3 hours): Thermo-mechanical Treatments
MODULE 7 (7 hours): Surface Hardening Techniques
MODULE 8 (5 hours): Alloying Additions, Heat treatment of Alloy steels
MODULE 9 (2 hours): Heat treatment Defects
